Arts Acre Foundation celebrated Indo-German Art Festival 2017

‘Art Haat’ festival in association with Emami Art was organized by Arts Acre Foundation from 11th November to 14th November 2017 where the Indian and German artists assembled. The festival was to provide a cultural exchange opportunity to mingle with artists and performers in a beautiful setting. Renowned sculptor Himmat Shah also graced the occasion.

Founded by Shuvaprasana, the foundation is blooming into an artists’ den. German artists like Christin Lutze, Petra Kasten, Thora Kraft, Johannes Gerad, Hertha Meissner et al participated in the festival. From India, Jogen Chowdhury, Prabhakar Kolte, Shipra Bhattacharyya, Debabrata De, Atin Basak and more participated in the event. Different stalls displayed a wide spectrum of art and creations with names like Emami Art participating in the event. SeigeNow, an emerging IP protection startup, was their blogging and social media partner under which a short documentary is made on the Indo-German Festival.

Ashrujit Basu, the founder of SiegeNow, on asking about art and IP says, “More such events should be organized to promote art licensing which will safeguard the best interests of the artists and the art for a longer time.”
