31st July, Kolkata – SAY, a band that started its journey in the year 2014, released its new song on 30th July 2017 in Kolkata. ‘Sonkramon’ is the name of the song, directed by Gourab Saha and Sumedha Dasgupta released in the event.
The guests who joined the occasion were Siddhartha Sankar, Sidhu Roy, Gourab Gabu Chatterjee, Tamal Kanti Halder, Indrajit Dey, Abhijit Barman Pata, Sayan Mitra, Jay Bhattacharya, M.D of SA Chaudhuri & Associates, Kunal Biswas, Rajiv Mitra, Moonmoon Chakraborty from Woman Times, Amit Chaudhuri and Sunny Bhattacharya.
‘SAY’ is a Kolkata based band that presents a love story through a video song that expresses today’s relationship and its phases. The story is usual yet has the capacity to make us see and know what the idea of this song is all about. Interestingly, this band does not have a particular genre but an experimental and alternative.
The vocalist too had his own reason for this concept for his album. This song was dedicated to one of the closest friends of the group. The vocalist, Gourab Saha says, “I wanted him to be there because I know this song would mean a lot to him and I wanted to see that while receiving but I am sure the message went to him and it feels great to do something for my friend”.
The producer of the solo song, Mr. Suvankar Chaudhuri of SA Chaudhuri & Associates says, “ I hope to see this video receiving thousands of views because I know its worth as I have seen the whole team working for it and I wish them good luck for this and their future.”
