Valentine’s Day has long been framed around roses, candlelit dinners, and romantic couples. Yet today, love feels far more expansive and deeply personal. It may be found in friendship, self-acceptance, queer connection, chosen family, or simply in honouring one’s present chapter in life. Love does not follow a single script — nor should it.
This Valentine’s weekend, Jugnu invites guests to experience Love, Light & Little Celebrations — The Jugnu Way, a thoughtfully curated three-day celebration from 13th to 15th February that embraces love in all its forms, free from labels or expectations.
Galentine’s Night | 13 February
An evening dedicated entirely to female friendships. Galentine’s Night is about long conversations, shared cocktails, unfiltered laughter, and the quiet comfort of being among your own. The focus is simple yet powerful — women celebrating women, without romance, without pressure, without pretense.
Valentine’s Day | 14 February
A refined interpretation of classic romance, centred on warmth, intimacy, and meaningful moments. Jugnu leans into softer lighting, lingering dinners, and indulgent flavours, offering couples a setting that feels elevated yet effortless — romantic without being performative.
UnValentine | 15 February
For those who do not quite fit into the conventional Valentine’s mould — singles, groups of friends, the recently heartbroken, the happily unattached, and anyone choosing themselves first. UnValentine celebrates self-love, ease, and possibility.
Expect vibrant energy, curated music, soulful food, and drinks meant to be savoured rather than scrutinised. It is the kind of evening where you may arrive with friends, strike up unexpected conversations, form new connections, and leave feeling lighter than when you arrived — no labels, no pressure, just a shared appreciation for the moment.
The Culinary Experience
Across the three days, Jugnu’s menu leans into comforting yet refined flavours designed for sharing and lingering.
Light, refreshing starters such as Watermelon Salad set the tone for relaxed evenings, while heartier offerings — from grills and artisanal pizzas to robust classics like Nalli Nihari and slow-cooked dals — bring warmth and depth to the table. Desserts such as Tres Leches, Tiramisu, and fragrant Rose Phirni provide a soft, indulgent finale, perfectly suited to conversations that stretch just a little longer.
The weekend will follow an à la carte format, allowing guests the freedom to curate their own experience, with dishes priced as per Jugnu’s regular menu.
Cocktail Specials
The celebrations are complemented by thoughtfully crafted cocktails and zero-proof options that reflect the weekend’s mood — playful, indulgent, and expressive.

Highlights include:
-
Jugnu Martini — a crystal-clear, milk-washed martini featuring gin, crisp red apple, gentle jalapeño heat, and a subtle tamarind finish.
-
Love on the Rocks — built on dark rum or bourbon, layered with chocolate, coffee, and orange bitters.
Zero-proof options ensure inclusivity without compromise:

“Valentine’s Day isn’t just about couples or traditional romance. At Jugnu, we wanted to create a weekend where everyone feels included — friends, chosen families, queer communities, singles, and anyone exploring love on their own terms. It’s about connection, joy, and celebrating love in all its forms, in a space that feels welcoming, authentic, and full of energy,” says Sandeepraj Salian, Co-founder, Jugnu, Goa.
By extending Valentine’s into a three-day experience, Jugnu moves beyond the pressure of a single evening and instead creates space for presence, warmth, and meaningful moments of celebration — honouring love in all its evolving and beautiful forms.
