25th March 2017, Mumbai: Malishka Mendonsa, popularly known as RJ Malishka aka Mumbai Ki Rani, recently received an award at the sixth edition of IMPACT magazine’s 50 Most Influential Women in Media, Marketing and Advertising 2017.
Through entertainment, Malishka has been able to voice out on any issue and is India’s no 1 Radio Jockey she has won a number of awards of which one is for the best breakfast show in the country at the India Radio Forum Awards 2016 and 2017. In 2016, Malishka became the first commentator for Pro Boxing. She expressed herself by saying, “Very honored to receive this award among 50 of the most influential media ladies in the country. Thank you Impact magazine for recognizing me for this honor and thank you to the lovely, encouraging people in my life who always tell me to focus on the goal and on what’s right(you know who you are) and not on what others think. For being instrumental in fanning my dreams I’d start with my mom. There’s a long way to go and this is an important, lovely milestone.”
