Kolkata, March 7, 2026: The Tericom Foundation, in collaboration with Wavo AI, successfully hosted “AI For Her: Reskilling for the AI Age” at The Saturday Club, Kolkata. Conceived as a strategic initiative, the programme sought to empower women from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds by equipping them with the technological literacy and resources necessary to launch and scale their own enterprises in an increasingly automated economy.
The event witnessed the presence of distinguished leaders and industry experts who reflected on the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and its role in shaping the future of entrepreneurship. Chief Guest Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group, delivered a compelling keynote address on the essential integration of technology and leadership in contemporary education and enterprise.
“Education and enterprise must evolve alongside technology to ensure that women are not just observers but active leaders in this new era of intelligence,” Prof. Roychowdhury remarked, emphasising the importance of equipping women with the skills required to thrive in a technology-driven world.
The session was further enriched by the presence of Chief Guest of Honour Mr. Debasish Sen, CEO of NBC Pvt Ltd and former Additional Chief Secretary, who elaborated on the growing influence of artificial intelligence across corporate sectors as well as the contemporary arts, highlighting its wide-ranging impact on modern industries.
A high-impact panel discussion followed, moderated by Saira Shah Halim, bringing together insights from Ritusmita Biswas and Dr. Moon Chattaraj on the pressing need for digital adaptation in today’s marketplace. The discussion explored how technology-driven communication and AI-enabled strategies are reshaping professional landscapes.

During the session, Ritusmita Biswas noted, “Our goal is to build impactful narratives and meaningful public engagement, ensuring that every woman has the strategic communication tools and AI-driven resources to strengthen her presence in the modern market.”
Adding to the depth of the discussion were the perspectives of Ms. Nayantara Palchoudhuri, a fourth-generation tea planter with over 35 years of experience, and Ms. Rimjhim Ray, Co-founder of Wavo AI and Spotle.ai, who shared their industry experiences and views on innovation and entrepreneurship.
The event progressed to an intensive AI masterclass conducted by Ms. Rimjhim Ray, where participants were introduced to practical strategies for integrating generative tools and automation into their business workflows. The session provided attendees with hands-on insights into how artificial intelligence can be leveraged to enhance efficiency, communication, and market outreach.
Highlighting local innovation and entrepreneurial excellence, the programme concluded with the AI Awards, recognising trailblazing companies including Biryani Babu, Puja Dukaan, Veda Morph, and Hyde n Chique for their innovative contributions.
