Kolkata – The fourth annual festival of Jungle Mahal, ‘Jungle Mahal Utsav’, an annual fest starting from 3rd November to 5th November 2017 at Mohor Kunj, is being announced by the Jungle Mahal Udyog on 17th October 2017, in a press conference at Kolkata Press Club.
Chairman Dr. Pashupati Mahato, Media Convenor Lipi Chowdhury, Media Advisor, Debashish Mullick from Monmarte and Dr. Mridup Dey were present in the press conference. They informed the media about their detailed schedule which include culture, music, and artifacts of Jungle Mahal displaying the different forms and genres of the region. The unsung artists from Jungle Mahal region which consists of places like Jhargram, Mednipore, Bankura, Birbhum, and Purulia will be felicitated and will get a platform to perform and showcase their talents.
The press conference ended with songs sung by Tirtha Sundar Biswas from Sohoj Manush which added a flavor to the beginning of the program.
