HOT CHOCOLATE

Season’s delight may be anything but there are some desserts that make us feel good anytime anywhere. Payel Ray Chaudhuri brings to us her recipe – ‘Hot Chocolate’ – for us to try and feel the divinity of chocolate…

 

Ingredients:

3-4 tablespoons cocoa powder

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons fresh cream

¼ cup of sugar

A pinch salt

½ inch cinnamon

Marshmallows for topping

Chocolate stick for garnishing

 

Method:

  1. Heat a non-stick pan. Add cocoa powder, milk, sugar and salt and whisk well.
  2. Add cinnamon and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, strain and blend well with a hand blender.
  3. Pour into individual microwave-safe glasses, top with marshmallows and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  4. Garnish with the chocolate stick and serve hot.
