Veg Fusion: Veg Jhalfrezi with Green Peas Sausage

Introducing Veg Jhalfrezi with Green Peas Sausage — a delightful fusion dish that combines the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine with the savory goodness of sausages. This dish features a medley of colorful vegetables stir-fried with aromatic spices like cumin, coriander, and turmeric, creating a tantalizing symphony of tastes and textures.

Ingredients for Green Peas Sausage:

2 cups Green Peas paste

1 cup Chicken paste

3 tsp Chilli paste

2 tsp Minced onion-ginger garlic

Salt and sugar to taste

Aluminum foil

Ingredients for Veg Jhalfrezi:

50g Boiled Baby Corn

50g Boiled Carrot

100g Boiled Beans

25g Boiled Green peas

2 tsp Pepper

1 tsp Ginger paste

1 tsp Garlic paste

1 tsp Kasuri Methi

1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

1/2 tsp Chilli powder

50g Minced Red bell pepper

50g Onion petals

4 tsp Whipped sour curd

1 tsp Coriander powder

1/2 tsp Cumin powder

Lettuce leaves

Ingredients for Strawberry Chutney:

5 tsp Strawberry pulp

1 tsp Chilli flakes

Sugar and Salt to taste

2 tsp Mustard powder

Method:

For Sausage:

  • Mix all ingredients for the sausage.
  • Wrap the mixture in aluminum foil and boil in water for 15 minutes.
  • Thinly slice the sausages.

For Jhalfrezi:

  • Heat butter in a pan.
  • Add onion, capsicum, red bell pepper, ginger paste, garlic paste, and black pepper powder. Stir well.
  • Add salt, sugar, boiled vegetables, coriander powder, cumin powder, and sour curd.
  • Add the prepared sausage slices and stir.
  • Serve on lettuce leaves.

For Strawberry Chutney:

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender.
  • This can also be served with garlic bread.
