Woman Times Desk, 25th August 2018, Kolkata – This program was conceived by the Inner Wheel Club of Madhyamgram Metropolitan and presented in honour of Surangama, a member and friend of everyone in the club, who will never grow old. On her birthday, 21st August, all the members of the Inner Wheel Club of Madhyamgram Metropolitan celebrated her birthday at the Tollygunge Home, celebrating with the golden veterans who enjoyed an evening of music and melody with them. The elderly along with members of Surangama’s family and dignitaries from the Inner Wheel District 329, grooved to the electrifying music of the guest band ‘The Grooverz’.
The presence of special guests like Prantik Banerjee-a popular face on television – and Rupsha Dasgupta- Manager ‘Fossils’ made everyone beam with joy. Heart-warming speeches, impromptu jigs, food, fellowship and bonhomie- all summed up an unforgettable evening that is sure to go down memory lane.
