A city Nightclub for the first time in Kolkata initiated special Christmas celebration for the underprivileged children

 

27th December 2018, Kolkata – It is often spelled that nightclubs and drinks are not for good people and what is good is unknown to most of us. Well, a myth will always be a myth but very few people get up on their toes to do something worthy for themselves and society and one of such example is Mimi Das who has set a new record of breaking the stereotypical notion about pubs and nightlife. The club Boudoir of Kolkata famous for its nightlife and rocking world inside it has come forward to celebrate this Christmas for the first time in a different way by dedicating a day full of fun with the children of the Star Welfare Society. Food, dance, and gifts made the children pump up with happiness. The children were delighted to get tattoos on their hands of their favorite cartoon characters.

On asking Mimi Das, a social philanthropist, about her concept she tells Woman times, “There is always a preconceived notion about so many things around us in the society of which the clubs and nightlife is one but everything is always not bad hence this initiative is a way of letting people know that nightclubs are not just for enjoyment but they also  have social responsibility towards the society. I am sure such attempts will always make the society peaceful and progressive.”

The special guests at the event were Sushil Kothari (Owner of Saakshi Jewelry), Sneha Chakraborty (Bengali Actor), Madhabilata Mitra (Model), RJ Vineet, Debopam Sarkar (Journalist) and John Sengupta. To make the event successful Easy Notes and Ishrat’s beauty parlor has given special gifts to the children on the occasion of Christmas.

Ronak Dixit, the administrative head of Club Boudoir says. “It is a great pleasure to be associated with such initiative. I thank Mimi Das for the same as such initiatives are rarely taken and this is for the first time that a nightclub has taken such endeavor.”

People will look forward to more such initiatives from the clubs in the future.
