Indian judiciary system has time and again proved to be the pro-people and public still believe it to be the pillar of
justice. But with modernization, globalization and changing society, laws have been amended, shaped and moulded to adapt the society. The recent demands of changes in the LGBTQ laws are undergoing enough debates and arguments. Amidst these, Indian law is ready to witness another history making movement where a case shall be filed by Adv. Megh Sayantan Ghosh on behalf of Shankari, a transwoman from Kolkata. She is an active social activist and a village worker.

transwoman lawyer of Kolkata to win a civil case at Alipore Court, West Bengal, has set on this unique case where she will fight for the legal adoption law for the transgender people. Through an affidavit by a first class judicial magistrate, the case will be filed and we all are hoping to see a new dawn in the history of law as every person has the right to enjoy parenthood.
