Bengali Film ‘Parcel’, a high-end mystery drama, to cast Saswata and Rituparna

Woman Times Desk 4th March 2019, Kolkata – A wrap-up party of a film on the rooftop and the cast was brewing the story plot amidst themselves. This is the story of unknown parcels that create a shroud of mystery in the lives of a couple. ‘The parcel’ directed by Indrasish Acharya and the couples, Nandini and Souvik, is played by Rituparna Sengupta and Saswata Chatterjee. The expectation was peeping from each person’s mind about the film as the Bengali industry do not often witness open-ended and high-end thriller movies.

While asking about the character Rituparna Sengupta replied, “I was excited with the script. Indrasish has experimented a foreign element in the film which is very appreciable. In a nutshell, the story revolves around Nandini and Souvik, the couple who starts receiving unknown parcels.”

The pair Saswata and Rituparna mockingly introduced their daughter in the film who plays the violin. The party was booming with the loud waves of laughter that were thrown by Saswata with his immense sense of humour.

Saswata Chatterjee candidly says, “The story is about the parcels that are frequently received by the couples and this creates a psychological turmoil in their lives. The audience will have to watch the film to unveil the mystery.”

“I had this plot in my mind. There is a message in the film that I want the audiences to understand. We all are under some surveillance all the time but are we safe under the surveillance?”asks Indrasish Acharya, the director of the film ‘The Parcel’.

The mystery thriller film is sure to leave the audience wonder about the phases that will be unrevealed. Think again before allowing yourself to be under surveillance.
