Brittany Glen Hearing launches its 4th branch in the city

31st August 2017: Brittany Glen Hearing launches its 800 sqft. branch at Naktala with an aim to provide awareness and service to the people in the area. The event was graced by Smt. Jhulan Goswami, Ex Captain of Indian Women’s Cricket Team, Shri Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay, Hon’ble Minister In-Charge, Power & Non-conventional Energy Sources and Dr. Sujata Bhattacharyya, Manager- West Bengal State Export Promotion Society, Biswa Bangla.

The hearing devices both analogy and digital range from Rs. 4,500 to Rs. 2,50,000 and generally last for 7 to 8 years or even more depending on the usage. The battery usually lasts for 2 months and that calls for a minimum recurring cost. The awareness campaign run by Brittany Glen Hearing informs people about the symptoms of hearing loss of which single conversation, speech from behind, and more are the factors for the loss. Hearing loss is irreversible and occurs due to the ear cells that dry up for various reasons.

Jhulan Goswami speaks on the initiative, “I am glad to witness the initiative and I hope that everyone works with honesty and dedication towards the society.” Followed by this Sri Shovondeb Chattopadhyay adds, “United people can work in this direction. More of such works should come to the fore and people must cooperate in this initiative.”
