25th December 2017, Kolkata – On the eve of Christmas, few individuals of the ‘city of joy’, initiated by Suparna Mukherjee, celebrated their share of joy with the children suffering from cancer at the Chittaranjan Cancer Institute at Hazra. The individuals were – Suparna Mukherjee, Mrs. India Queen of Substance 2nd Runner-up, Lalitji, wholesaler of sarees and his daughter, Mr. Roy, Mrs. Sriparna Roy, Sandipta, Subhra Ghosh and Mr. Siddhartha Ghosh.
The children were gifted blankets, chocolates, Christmas hats, cakes et al. The pediatric ward wore a smile as the innocent souls were enlivened oblivious of the deadly disease engulfing them. Such initiatives encourage more people to bring smiles to the innocent faces.
