‘Sharanya’, a fashion show, is the first initiative by Aneebee Entertainments. The fashion show marks International Women’s Day. The event has been graced by Zha Liyou, Honorable Consulate General of China in Kolkata; Prof Maria Fernandes, Member of State Women’s Commission; Suchandra Vaniya; Sweeya Santipitaks, Honorable Consulate General of Thailand; Indroneel Mukherjee and others. The event marks the launch of Aneebee Entertainments at iLead on 7th of March 2020.
The event –
Sharanya is a fashion show of the women who have successfully survived beyond the physical attributes along with the top models of the city. The team of the event consists of – Anita Dutta, Founder of Aneebee Entertainments, Soumie Dutta, Fashion Creative Director, Swagata Paul, Skill Development Director, Abhishek Sarkar, Creative Director, and Neelay Sengupta, Show Director.
Founder speaks –

The event followed an award ceremony. Padma Sri Subhashini Mistry, Pratima Poddar, Ananya Chandra Roy, Swati Dutta, Ajay Mistry received awards for their contribution to society as a whole.
Dutta further says, “We are celebrating women empowerment. And being an empowered woman I feel that I must help other women towards development. So, I want to give more power to them because empowered women can only bring positive change. But at the same time, we are not feminist hence we acknowledge the men who are contributing to society and also helping in the women empowerment.”
Musical performances followed the night. The program marks the beginning of a journey to look beyond her physical attributes.
