Health is wealth and so add this healthy ‘chaat’ to your daily diet chart

Hey, readers! This is your beloved Chef Ronit to surprise you with an amazing yet healthy recipe. If I talk about ‘Chaat’ – the name itself is giant enough to drive anyone crazy, and none of us has the expertise to ignore it, isn’t it? 

But as we know it is not healthy to have chaat on a daily diet and hence as a chef I came up with a recipe that you can have everyday. Are you lip-locked in thoughts? Don’t be, as this one has all the chaat flavours, combination of all the religious chat-taste, the much needed crispy crunch, and everything that is in need. No more will your diet chart peep into the chaat graoning at
you. As you know that oats are rich in fiber and has many health benefits.
Lets start with the recipe:
Chatpata oats chaat:
Ingredients:
Oats – 50 gm
Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Salt – to taste
Black salt – 2 tbsp
Boiled chickpeas – 5 tbsp
Boiled potatoes – 5 tbsp
Chopped cucumber – 2 tbsp
Chopped tomatoes – 2 tbsp
Chopped green chilli – 1 tbsp
Lemon juice – 3 tbsp
Mint chutney – 2 tbsp
Chopped corriander – 4 tbsp
Chpped raw mango – 2 tbsp
Method:
Dry roast the oats on medium heat till it is light brown and toasted. Remove it to a bowl and let it get cool completely. While it is cooling, mix yogurt and black salt. Keep aside till needed.
For the Green Chutney, take mint leaves add it to grinder with chillies and lemon juice salt make a smooth paste keep aside. Right before serving mix the oats and cornflakes in a big bowl, and add the chickpeas, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, raw mango, corriander, chillies black salt, lemon juice, and mix well.
 
Add  yogurt and mix well. Take some in a serving plate, and drizzle the green chutney as per preferences.
 
Garnish with pomegranate seeds and corriander leaves and serve immediately the ‘Oats-chaat‘.
