Himsagar Rui – a recipe to relish this season’s best

When the season is for both mango and fish you will not want to miss one for sure. And how if both the flavours join hands to enrich your taste buds? Here is a recipe by me that will not only satiate your mango thirst but also your love for fishes.

Ingredients –

Rui – 3 pcs.

Himsagar Mango (both Ripe and Raw) paste

Mustard seeds paste – 2 tsp

Onion (minched) – 1 pc.

Turmeric – 1 tsp

Ginger Paste – ½ tsp

Mustard Oil

Salt

Sugar

Green Chilli Paste

Green Chilli

Cinnamon

 

Method –

Take a frying pan and heat oil, add cinnamon to it. Marinate the fish pieces with raw mango paste for half an hour. Then smear the fish with mustard seed paste, turmeric, green chilli paste, ginger paste, mustard oil, salt, ripe mango, onion, sugar and fry in the pan with cinnamon for 3 minutes. Stir and it is ready to serve.
