‘Khawabo Jataney’ the new food destination

Located on the streets ‘Khawabo Jataney’ is the new eatery destination for the people in the city. A small restaurant, with a wide variety of Bengali and Mughlai dishes, Dripto Alam, the owner of the restaurant says, “The concept behind this restaurant is that there is no Bengali restaurant near Jodhpur Park, Dhakuria, and Lake Gardens so we are expecting a crowd crazy for Bengali and Mughlai food.”

‘Khawabo Jataney’ was opened on 15th August 2017, and during the short term operation, the restaurant finds a good response from the consumers or food lovers. The food is prepared by the aunt of the owner of this restaurant which Dripto Alam believes that she gives the touch to the food of the restaurant. The home delivery facility enables the people in South Kolkata to enjoy the food just sitting back at home.

The expected pocket pinch for a couple will be around Rs. 500 to Rs. 600 both in case of Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian. Special items like ‘Narkel Dudher Pula’o, ‘Alu Bokhra’ and ‘Sultani Biryani Chicken’, ‘Sahjahani Chutney’ are some of the must-try foodstuffs. The fast food section has again a wider collection and unique from other street foods. Egg Cheese Roll is one such item which fills your tummy and satisfies your taste buds. Chicken stuffing in the roll is full of life and the cheese in it makes the taste whirls. Capsicum pieces give out the aroma and the combination of omelet makes it hard to resist.

The chef, being not from Kolkata, gives Dripto an edge over the stereotypical taste. One must try this new outlet for fast and exciting food.
