When was it last that you had spent time with yourself? Can you? I guess no.

You are unable to recall if I am right! In today’s fast paced dog eat dog world every day we are busy proving ourselves to the world, be it to our colleagues, bosses, friends, clients, customers, business rivals, family members and the list is endless. From the day we started schooling to the day we breathe our last, we are running errands sometimes at work, otherwise at home.

We are always interacting, sometimes personally, sometimes over the phone or over the social network.  If we decide to spend some time in solitude, we have a feeling of isolation with the world at large. We are afraid of being alone. However, the same need not be true; solitude is a way to retrospect the inner self and one should pinch out the little time to reap the immense benefit of it.

There is the number of reasons we need solitude:

Retrospection –

Interacting with the self is necessary as that is possible only when one is in solitude, which is otherwise impossible if we are constantly surrounded by others. Having a clear vision of what we want from life is vital to sustenance and our mind becomes open and clear, and thoughts become clear allowing one to be more focused. Being alone, it relaxes minds and comes

up with great solutions to various problems in life, which would have otherwise never come. Delving deep into the psychology one can do the SWOT analysis. We are able to prioritize better, which in turn increases our efficiency. Isolation gives you the opportunity to be away from unnecessary information that confuses the mind and brain. Confidence grips the soul teaching to be all the more independent, strong and a go-getter.
