National Institute of Professionals (NIP) presents ‘Epar Bangla Opor Bangla’, an Indo-Bangladesh inclusive cultural festival 2017 at ICCR for 2 days starting from 30th May 2017.
The Indo-Bangladesh Inclusive cultural festival was inaugurated by and was attended by eminent personalities like Dr. S.K.Tripathy, Hon’ble Regional Director IGNOU, Mr. Goutam Dey, Hon’ble Regional Director ICCR, Kabi Luthfor Rahman, Bangladesh, and many other eminent personalities.
An Art Camp of the renowned painters of Bangladesh and West Bengal including the painters with disabilities were displayed. A cultural program followed by a song, dance, drama, recitation, etc. by differently able painters and also renowned artists from Bangladesh and West Bengal. Mr. Debajyoti Roy, the Secretary of NIP NGO says, “This is a unique program because in our society people always want to maintain a distance between normal and disabled persons. People think that disable people cannot do the same thing as normal and disabled persons.
The Cultural program has popular artists like Tirtha Sundar Biswas and the band ‘Sohoj Manush’.
