18th January 2020, Woman Times Desk – Calcutta Rowing Club and Play On presents the HOPE Concert which is aimed at creating awareness for Paediatric Cancer at Calcutta Rowing Club on 18th January’20.
The awareness concert featuring Sangeet Natak Akademi Winner Pt. Tarun Bhattacharya, maestro Bickram Ghosh, and Rasika Shekar. They will be accompanied by other musicians on drums and keyboard.
Every year around 3,00,000 children get diagnosed with Paediatric Cancer out of which 80-90,000 children die. In India, 45-50,000 children are diagnosed with Paediatric Cancer every year. The treatment is both very expensive and also very painful.
