Pt. Tarun Bhattacharyya, Rasika Sekhar and Bickram Ghosh join hands for Hope Concert

19th January 2020, Woman Times Desk – The city of Joy is always blessed with musical performances but when maestros join hands to aware people about paediatric cancer the evening turns into a positive message. The event was conducted at Calcutta Rowing Club late evening. This has been one of the best production of the three – Pt. Tarun Bhattacharyya, Rasika Sekhar, and Bickram Ghosh. Pulak Sarkar on the keyboard and Satyajit Mukherjee on drums accompanied the trio for the evening.

The confluence of different ragas and fusion of music in just two hours of practice proves their expertise and passion for music. The concert started with the soft music of santoor and wind chimes gradually moving from the South Indian ragas to North Indian style throwing the beats to the audience with elegance and ace. The sudden thumping beats by Bickram on his chest mesmerised the audience and only applauds followed thereafter. The flute by Rasika Sekhar emerged as the strong voice for the musicians standing for pediatric cancer. The jugalbandi between Pt. Tarun Bhattacharyya and Bickram Ghosh gifted the audience a beautiful evening.
