Mou Chattopadhyay is radiantly reflecting her Gharana of Ramkumar Chattopadhyay. Being the granddaughter she comes up with her first-ever online musical concert ‘Khola Hawa’. It will be streamed on 9th August 2020 at 8.30 p.m. on the virtual platform. The tickets are available online.
“It was our plan to give some musical relaxation to the people who love music. It is months that we are detached from audiences or performing on stage. This year the Pandemic has restricted our movement. But it can not deter our will to let the music reach far and wide”, says Mou Chattopadhyay, the singer. This the first duet program of Mou Chattopadhyay. Rishi Chatterjee is arranging the music for Mou, his sister.

Belonging to a musical legacy who started with radio, Mou is all set to carry that forward with technology. Her first duet is with Kinjal, a popular singer of SaReGaMa fame, and she is all geared up to give something new to her audiences. The program will present the audience with popular numbers from Bengali and Hindi films. Inclusion of Ghazals and other types will surely optimise the evening.
On asking her about the difference between live performance and virtual performance Mou speaks her mind, “Definitely there is a huge difference between the two like during stage performance fans can request songs. We can see and hear there excitement. We will miss these things. But given the situation of the pandemic, this is not possible for more few months. So, the music must continue to relax your minds. We will deliver the same quality and intense songs. Hence, I think people are responding to such online shows.”
The singer is much positive about the show and is expecting a Housefull for ‘Khola Hawa’.
