The much-awaited event by Sakhi Sangh commenced at Ozora Banquets on April 26th, 2024, to honor women entrepreneurs, heroic housewives, and influencers. The Chief Guest was Santi Das, ASP, West Bengal. Indroneel Mukherjee and Richa Sharma were the Guests of Honour.

Speaking about the event, Anamika Singh says, “I would like to say that just after the event, when people start inquiring about the next event and congratulate on the success, it really means that the event is liked by people. As an organizer, I will always want happy faces, and I think this initiative has made many individuals smile.”

After this event, our next initiative is Ethnic Queen India Season 4, where women entrepreneurs and housewives will get a platform and also we are planning to come up with Matri Shakti Awards.”

The event started with a business networking session followed by a high-tea. The idea was to network and create a connection to promote various business women for better commercial viability. Post the networking session, the Awards were given to the women who were nominated. The Awards were presented by Santi Das.

Expressing her opinion on the workshop, Debjani Roy says, “Sakhi Sangh has arranged a nice concept of networking followed by the high-tea. The real quality of an entrepreneur is to be ‘focused’, and not every business is an entrepreneurship, so the key to elevate any entrepreneurship is FOCUS.”

Tasneem Fakhri, an Awardee at WOI Awards, says, “I am a travel curator and have started this in 2011. Since 2016, I have been with my own venture – I. Even when I say today that I am a travel curator, not that many people understand what it is. However, for me, curating people’s dream vacation or trips is a passion for me, and I go all out to ensure that they get their dream vacation as they see it for themselves in the most picture-perfect way.”

Amidst these, Shreyoshi Bhaumick speaks on her nutrition passion, “When the diet is wrong, medicine is of no use, when the diet is right, medicine is of no need. Ever since I have been into the platform of Nutrition, I have always had the strong willpower to change people’s mindset on eating practices. The word ‘Healthy’ doesn’t necessarily mean tasteless, boring food, hours and hours of exercise, or keeping yourself hungry to get your dream body. So always learn to love food and make food your best friend. And to be awarded for your hard work is an absolute honor. I would like to thank Sakhi Sangh, Anamika Singh for recognizing my efforts that will always inspire me ahead to continue to strive for excellence.”

Another Awardee, Bilkis Parveen Chatterjee, states, “Appreciation is definitely motivation. Bringing in women from different fields is really amazing, and Woman Times covering this makes it all the more special. I believe in constant growth, so wherever I get a good opportunity to grow, I grab. I started in the industry as the organizer of pageants, to modeling, to influencer, and now will be hitting the big screen soon. Every 6 months, I give myself a target to achieve new targets.”

Nandita Daga says, “The influencer industry has seen significant growth and impact globally, including in states like West Bengal. Influencers play a crucial role in shaping consumer behavior, brand perception, and trends across various sectors. In West Bengal, influencers leverage platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and others to engage with their audience, promote products/services, and share their perspectives on diverse topics. Like in any other region, the influencer industry in West Bengal continuously evolves, with influencers from different genres such as fashion, lifestyle, food, travel, and more making their mark. They wield the power to reach a vast audience. It’s essential for influencers to maintain transparency, authenticity, and ethical practices while creating content to build trust and credibility with their followers. As the industry matures, influencers and brands alike need to adapt to changing trends, algorithms, and audience preferences to stay relevant and foster meaningful relationships with their audience.

Payal Goenka, owner of Shreyashree, speaks about the event, “Being an awardee at Sakhi Sangh was a great experience because appreciation always boosts your confidence, and I felt overwhelmed by the work Sakhi Sangh is doing.” They are awarding the real Sheroes of life. There were even awards for housewives, which was an amazing category, and I would love to be a part of Sakhi Sangh ever. Fashion is a language that creates itself in clothes to interpret reality.
