If your taste buds are in love with spicy food and you are fond of kababs then “SanjhaChulha” is the right place for you to visit. The ambiance of the restaurant is filled with low light which is giving a perfect romantic ambiance for a couple.
Sanjha Chulha has quoted themselves as “Sultan of Kababs” but they also serve a variety of delicious dishes like ‘Murghtikkabiriyani‘, bhuna mutton, mutton ‘Roganjosh‘, prawn 65, ‘Angara tandoori‘ which is a portion of hot and spicy food. But for the ones who are not prone to spicy food for them they have a special dish ‘Chicken methi malai‘. Their USP dish is ‘Kabab‘ which also consists of varieties like ‘Jugalbandi Sheikh Kabab‘ which is a mixture of chicken and mutton, ‘Geelafi kabab‘, ‘Murgh Makhmali Kabab’ and lots more to choose from the menu.
The good news is that every day they offer a special dish excluding the items in the regular menu and the special one changes regularly to give a different flavour to the customers.
The restaurant was established on 10th October 2002 on the auspicious day of Panchami during Navratri. This year they are celebrating their 15th anniversary. It is situated in 558/2, Panditya Extension Road, opposite –Vivekananda park. The parking is not at all a problem.
THE FOOD
With a warm welcome, we were greeted with “lime juice” prepared from fresh lime, chilled soda, a pinch of black salt, and sugar syrup. After refreshment, they served a starter which was ‘Afghani Kabab Tengri Kabab with onion and green chatni which had a perfect flavor of Afghani style. It followed with Kandhari Chicken which had a marvelous flavor of cream mixed with different spicy masala and butter nun.

Expected to get a romantic and spacious ambiance both for couple and family dinners. It has a good parking place space but one may get into trouble to find the restaurant as it is not on the main road but the one at the E.M.Bypass is easily traceable. Two persons or a couple can have good and quality food with a pocket pinch of Rs.600 – Rs.700. It also has 3 branches in EM Bypass, CIT road and Kasba.
