The program had many parts like drawing competition, stretcher distribution and blindfold art followed by lunch for the guests. Mrs. Smita Bakshi, MLA Jorasako, said, “This is a wonderful initiative by both the organisation and such initiatives should be taken up at a regular interval. Sometime back I went to Purulia for recreation the people there expressed their grief that after Mahasweta Devi there is no one to look after me. I shared this incident with Chorebagan Durgatsav Committee and they arranged a trip to Purulia where they did few welfare activities. I am glad that they are not just confined to celebrating Durgatsav but also have expanded their social responsibilities.”
