Sugar-Free Oatmeal Pancake Recipe

This recipe brings together the warm, comforting texture of oats with the natural sweetness of banana and melon. It’s sugar-free, easy to prepare, and made with ingredients you likely already have at home.

Ingredients for Oatmeal Pancake Recipe:

  • 4–6 tbsp Quaker oats

  • 1 ripe banana – thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup ripe melon – cut into small cubes

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • Water – as needed to make batter

  • A pinch of salt

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 fresh mint twig – for garnish

Preparation Method:

Step 1: Make Oat Batter

  • Blend oats into a fine powder using a dry grinder or blender.

  • In a bowl, mix the oat powder with water to make a smooth batter.

  • Stir in vanilla essence and a pinch of salt.

  • Let the batter rest for 5–10 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare Melon-Banana Sauce

  • Heat a pan with a few drops of olive oil on low flame.

  • Add banana slices and melon cubes.

  • Toss gently for 1–2 minutes until slightly soft.

  • Add a pinch of salt.

  • Mash the banana slices and half the melon while stirring to create a chunky sauce.

  • Add lemon juice and mix well. Turn off heat and keep sauce warm.

Cooking Method: Oatmeal Pancake

  • Heat a nonstick pan over low flame and lightly brush with olive oil.

  • Pour a ladleful of the oat batter onto the pan.

  • Gently spread it into a round shape using the back of the ladle.

  • Cook until edges turn golden brown, then flip carefully.

  • Cook the other side until done. Remove and keep warm.

To Serve

  • Place the pancake on a serving plate.

  • Pour warm melon-banana sauce over it.

  • Garnish with leftover melon cubes and a fresh mint twig.

  • Serve warm and enjoy a naturally sweet, guilt-free treat!
