Woman Times, 13th August 2019 – In this virtual world of social likes and shares, photographs take a vital place in everyone’s daily lives. People keep finding ways to highlight their profiles and when it comes to selfies India is the best at it. Woman Times organised a ‘selfie contest’ in association with Irani Mitra to flaunt their love and capture the best moments in frame. This contest is also intended to promote love, unity and decrease intolerance that is rapidly growing around everyone.
The online contest ‘Selfie with your loved ones’ started on 20th August 2019 and ended on 30th August 2019 and the criteria for winning was the maximum number of likes on the Facebook page decided the winners. Snehil Gupta has grabbed the first position, Sushmita Chatterjee was the 1st runner-up and Priya Ghosh was the 2nd runner-up. All the three winners got the chance to meet actor Promita Chakrabartty. The Adda and Fashion session was curated by Arpita Bose, the 2nd runner-up of Mrs Bengal 2018.
The winners got the opportunity to meet and greet the actor, share their thoughts and conveying their love for her. They received the trophies and gifts from the actor. There was a Pujo fashion-adda session with Arpita Bose where the upcoming Puja fashion and a lot of fashion-related conversation which made the environment lively and amusing. The event was arranged at Irani Mitra’s Fashion studio, where the design of the designer was appreciated by each and every one.
