Noorjahani Pulao and it’s tryst with Mr Apple

Noorjahani Pulao is a tasty cuisine designed for tummies that crave for differently cooked rice. The ingredients in the dish are healthy for the immune system, therefore occasional cooking will give both taste and health. But even if you want to give your cooked rice a different twist this is ideal.

Ingredients for Noorjahani Pulao:

Basmati Rice – 250 gms

Ghee – 1/2 cup

Cashew (Kaju Badam) – 1 tsp

Raisins (Kismish) – 2 tbsp

Apples (cut into ring shape) – 6 pcs

Kewra water – 2 tsp

Kesar milk – 2 tsp

Paneer cubes – 8 pcs

Ginger paste – 2 tsp

Garam Masala paste – 2 tsp

Sugar as per requirement

Salt as per requirement

Soak the rice overnight and later cook it properly.

Process:

Take a frying pan, add ghee and let it heat. Then swallow fry the apples, raisins/kismish, paneer, cashew/kaju badam and extract in a plate. Again add ghee, and lightly fry ginger. Then add the cooked rice and other fried items. Add salt and sugar as per your requirement. Cover the pan with a lid for some time. Then open it and add garam masala. After a minute add kewra water and kesar soaked in milk together. Give the dish a standing time. Garnish it with apples and serve hot. Your Noorjahani Pulao is ready.
