Ranga Alur Rosomoti Or Ranga Alur Bhaja Puli

Ingredients

Sweet Potato 500 gm

Rice Flour 2 cup

Salt to taste

Coconut scraped 1 whole

Nolen Gur 1 cup

Kheer 1 cup

Cardamom powder

Sugar 2 cups

Procedure:

Boil the sweet potatoes properly without skin.

Take rice flour in a separate bowl, add the salt and sweet potato. Make a stiff and smooth dough.

Make small flat pancakes or ‘pithe’ out of it, and add the grated coconut and kheer as filling.

Fry the stuffed sweet pancakes or ‘pithe’ in deep refined oil.

Make a sugar syrup, with water, and cardamom powder. Boil and let it thicken. Keep the pithe in the syrup for 2 hours.

Serve immediately.
